Eating at Emily Carr
The Caf is an all-inclusive, laid-back spot, offering a selection of bowls, burgers, burritos, and more. Serving the general public in addition to students, faculty and staff, they have a patio with views of the North Shore mountains and is located on the main floor (Level 2), adjacent to the Library, Students' Union and Staff Lounge. Everyone is welcome!
Regular opening hours:
Monday - Thursday: 8am - 5pm*
Friday: 8am - 3pm*
Saturday + Sunday: Closed
*The Caf's kitchen closes a half hour before The Caf closes for business each day
Tuck Shop is a ramen and snack bar serving two ramen dishes plus a variety of international snacks, candies, and drinks.
Dude Chilling - A miso soup ramen with tea egg and chashu pork.
Sahalli - A vegan tonkotsu-style creamy broth with tofu puff.
Find Tuck Shop on Level 1 of the ECU building at the southeast entrance, just off the Wilson Plaza.

Food trucks
Food trucks can be found on the North side of the Centre for Digital Media (577 Great Northern Way). Service is typically from 11:30AM to 2:00PM.
Eating and more close to campus
The Emily Carr campus is located close to the Mount Pleasant and Olympic Village neighborhoods. Breweries, restaurants, galleries, cafes and parks are all available within a 15 minute walk.
Kafka’s is located next to Emily Carr in the Centre for Digital Media
